Optativa
3.1. Tipo de pruebas y su valor sobre la nota final y criterios de evaluación para cada prueba
El estudiante deberá demostrar que ha alcanzado los resultados de aprendizaje previstos mediante las siguientes actividades de evaluación
PRIMERA CONVOCATORIA
1) Existe la posibilidad de realizar una Evaluación continua, en los siguientes términos:
a) Elaboración a lo largo del curso de cuatro trabajos voluntarios (600 palabras), que deberán entregarse de acuerdo con las especificaciones recogidas en el apartado de Actividades y Recursos de esta guía docente. (70 % de la calificación)
b) Prueba escrita teórica (30 %), sobre las lecturas obligatorias.
2) Realización de una Prueba de evaluación de naturaleza global, en la fecha fijada en el calendario de exámenes de la Facultad, que consta de las siguientes partes:
Parte 1: Examen teórico (30 %). Este examen constará de una serie de preguntas breves sobre las lecturas obligatorias.
Parte 2: Redacción de ensayo académico corto (70 %). Los alumnos tendrán que redactar un ensayo académico corto (800-1000 palabras) sobre una de las películas de visionado obligatorio, respondiendo a un concepto de análisis específico.
SEGUNDA CONVOCATORIA
Constará de una Prueba de evaluación global igual a la existente para la Primera convocatoria.
CRITERIOS DE EVALUACIÓN
Para ambas convocatorias:
1.Capacidad de análisis y comprensión del aspecto formal específico de los textos audiovisuales.
2.Capacidad argumentativa, organizativa y claridad expositiva.
3.Conocimiento básico de la historia del cine estadounidense entre 1925 y 1975.
4.Madurez y originalidad en las respuestas y/o en los ensayos.
5.Uso correcto de la lengua inglesa a un nivel mínimo de B2.2.

Las películas mencionadas en cada tema forman parte de sus contenidos. Al principio de cada curso se seleccionará uno de estos títulos por tema para el análisis textual de clase así como cuatro títulos en total para los ensayos de clase. Estas 10 películas constituirán la lista de textos de visionado obligatorio de cara al examen final. El ensayo académico corto a realizar en la prueba de evaluación global versará sobre uno de estos 10 textos.
